Kshitij is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Mumbai, India, with a mission to provide gainful employment to mentally challenged adults. We believe that the mentally challenged are special people, with special creative and administrative skills which can be nurtured with love and attention. Kshitij is dedicated to providing substance and sustenance to these special people, and to proving their potential to society. Our participants strive to look beyond the horizon, achieving levels of skill and independence that were previously thought to be impossible. Step into our workshop and feel the the synergy between dedicated parents, specially trained teachers and professionals and their equally devoted pupils.
